Turnaround & Shipping
"Fast" means nothing unless you know when the clock starts and what stops it. This page defines both - in writing.
Production time vs shipping time
Two separate clocks: production time (lab days inside Istar) and shipping time (courier transit to your door). We quote and manage them separately, so a delay in one is never hidden inside the other.
When the production clock starts
When your case data is complete and assumptions are confirmed - the intake confirmation you receive in writing. Not when the email arrived: missing bite records, unclear margins or unanswered design questions do not count as our production time.
What pauses or resets the clock
Waiting for your design approval, additional information, or a response to a technical question pauses production and is excluded from the quoted lead time. Re-scans, re-impressions or design changes after approval restart the relevant stage - we tell you at the time, not at the deadline.
Typical production windows
Routine crown and bridge: 2-3 lab days. Complex implant and full-arch cases: 7-10 lab days across stages, confirmed per case. Rush cases: 1-2 lab days by prior written arrangement. Multi-stage cases are scheduled stage by stage with dates you can plan appointments around.
Working days and holidays
Lab days are working days at our facilities. Chinese public holidays (notably Spring Festival) and planned maintenance windows are announced to account customers in advance, with cut-off dates for in-production cases.
Shipping
We dispatch with DHL, FedEx and UPS and provide tracking and ETA on dispatch. Transit time depends on destination and customs; import duties and brokerage in your country are the client's responsibility. Consolidated shipments and scheduled dispatch days are available for account customers.
